Stewiacke Valley Museum
The Stewiacke Valley Museum was officially opened in 1987. The museum depicts the life and history of the Stewiacke Valley and is maintained and operated by the Heritage Society. The Heritage Society hosts eight public meetings per year, each one involving a planned program pertaining in the history of the Valley.

Stewiacke Valley Red Cross Branch of Canadian Red Cross Society
Originally made it presence known in the Valley during the Second World War. In 1956, the present branch was formed. Programs provided have changed with the times. At present we provide loans of health equipment, such as crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, etc. We do door-to-door campaigning in March, special fund raisers for N.S. Red Cross and provide assistance in the community when needed.

The purpose of community school is to use existing school facilities for educational, recreational, and cultural programs for people of all ages. We usually run three flyers per year- winter, spring, and fall. Most activity leaders come from the community.
